Two Individuals Accused Over Heathrow ‘Pepper Spray’ Incident

Two men have been charged following a suitcase robbery where a believed to be pepper spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two counts of robbery and charges for deploying a toxic agent, according to official statements.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on the weekend. Earlier that day, two women were robbed of their luggage stolen after exiting a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A three-year-old girl was caught up in the incident in the event. Five people required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – which authorities stated was a standalone event and deemed non-terroristic – led to train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
