This young athlete boasts substantial online presence
Kai Trump can count on multiple prominent cheerleaders as she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses numerous golf courses and often matches against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."
"My grandpa basically advised me to go out there and have fun," she explained.
"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has participated in just three tournaments recently and holds position 461 in AJGA standings.
However she's able to receive tips from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He suggested me to compete, relax, adapting to the flow."
She'll challenge several most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, such as world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that Kai's presence exposes the sport to new audiences, specifically reaching youth audiences.
Kai boasts a massive following and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness label.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
