Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Windshield

A plane carrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the plane's windshield, per an official statement which verified that the secretary was unharmed.

"The plane landed following standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, such as Pete Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson said in a online announcement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.

This occurrence is not the initial instance that a US military aircraft ferrying a high-ranking official has suffered mechanical issues.

In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane transporting the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was forced to head back to Washington DC after suffering a mechanical fault.
