David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Acclaimed writer for children and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, the company has said.
A spokesman for the firm commented: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish any new titles by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the decision was taken subsequent to an review of allegations of questionable actions towards female individuals.
The publisher has not elaborated on the motivations for this action, adding: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
A Highly Successful Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most successful children's authors, with sales exceeding more than 60 million copies worldwide in 55 languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins in 2008.
Some of his works, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as small-screen adaptations.
His bibliography includes more than 40 books combined, which features a festive story titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins last autumn.
Television and Literature
His initial claim to fame came on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE in 2017 honoring his contributions to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive in October.
