Barça to Host Historic Game at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday

Barcelona have announced they are set to host at the partially upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in domestic competition 30 months since relocating so building work could begin.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. Once fully finished, it will accommodate close to 105,000 fans, increasing from the former 99,000. Officials confirmed recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players plus modern locker rooms.

Preparatory Events

Barça organized a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou earlier this month. The club said approval is being pursued from European football’s governing body to host the next European match versus the German side in December at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
